A unique blend of Vinyasa & Hatha yoga, integrated with qi gong and sport science movements. This 6-week course is like no other yoga course on offer in Perth!

Somatic Yoga has been designed with 40 years of experience by Chris Newell.

Chris wants you to complete this course knowing what it feels like to be peaceful and neutral inside or ‘sattvic’ as it is traditionally known.

Sattva is a quality associated with harmony and calm.

Neutral is about being balanced & centred. A neutral body state is characterised by a calm, relaxed demeanour associated with a fullness and vitality. We will practice finding neutral points and then using them as reference points during the vinyasa yoga practice.

Being able to regulate your nervous system is a skill that you can learn which allows you to be more resilient inside of yourself.

This course is suitable for experienced practitioners or for someone intending on establishing a new practice.

Activate your whole body (physical and energetic), increase your movement confidence, stability, balance and strength, and use your breath and get your energy moving so you feel more energetic and vital.
