A degree qualified former dancer and choreographer, Nicki began practicing Iyengar Yoga over 30 years ago. After a successful career in Community Dance, working mainly with children and adults with special needs, and 10 years as a stay-at-home Mum of two, Nicki retrained as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher in 2010, and has been teaching in the Kalamunda Community since.
A passionate advocate for the benefits of yoga and meditation in creating a resilient and strong body, mind and spirit, Nicki believes that a teacher must be a lifelong student too. Since that initial yoga teacher training, Nicki has followed her yogic interests into short courses as diverse as yoga for pain relief, arthritis and pelvic health, therapeutic yoga and the neuroscience of yoga. She specializes in slow, mindful yoga and playing the gong, and her goal is to ensure that every class she teaches is safe and effective for all participants.
