Pilates Beginners Course
Stretch, stabilise, strengthen and release stress. Perfect for people new to Pilates or who have injuries and want a slower, more gentle Pilates class.
This course is designed to introduce you to the key 6 principles of Pilates which are Breath, Centering, Control, Concentration, Precision and Flow. It will provide you with an understanding of how to connect your awareness into the body by using the deep stabiliser muscles to create a strong, stable base.
Throughout the course you’ll discover Pilates is an amazing tool to develop flexibility and mobility and to condition deep stabiliser muscles to help you create a stable and balanced body.
It is through the slow, precise, and mindful movements of Pilates you will activate and align your body systems, leaving you feeling regenerated and refreshed.
This course is suited for beginners and for those who may be experiencing discomfort or pain in:
- Neck and shoulders
- Lower back
- Tension Headaches
It is also recommended for anyone who:
- Sits at a desk all day
- Works out regularly at the gym
- Engages in physical manual labour
As part of the course, you will receive a Theraband (resistance band) which will assist with flexibility and mobility of joints as the Pilates classes progress.
